  It a local favorite of mine... fantastic tasting food and has top atmosphere for a beer out in the sports bar watching a game.

  Seriously delicious food, went there for a work Christmas dinner and everything was very professional. Staff were great, and answered my questions as well as showed great care for my friend who was eating the Vegetarian Option!

  This is a good hotel with stacks of car parking. Walking in 1st impression was excellent outside area then through to the main dining room, it was a little noisy but looked good. Quickly directed to our table which was of a big size for the 4 of us and appreciated. The bar service was quick and friendly so we then looked at the menu. A good selection of styles and variations to each style so again very happy. Ordering was quick and easy with reasonable prices and great service. When food arrived it was hot, a good sized meal and we all liked what we had ordered. So all up the only hassle was the noise level so I probably should have given them a 5 star

  Went to go to the bar to order a "whisky sour". They couldn't make it as the "kitchen was closed". What type of bar doesn't do a whisky sour, and how hard would it have been to get an egg from the kitchen? Person who served us was super rude too...no wonder people go to the city if they want to get a drink somewhere nice. Cocktails that we had instead were good though, however service was average. I was really polite and understanding too as I have worked retail and the person I was with has worked hospo...and she couldn't work out why they couldn't be bothered helping us either.

  Food was good, however my daughter had the beer battered fish and chips from the specials board and there was a big clump of batter that wasn't properly cooked. That put her off her meal and she had a plate of fruit from the salad bar instead. It was busy with Christmas functions but expected better. Otherwise it was an enjoyable evening.
